S. William Abel Academy

The goals of the S. William Abel Academy are to improve all students’ ability to learn, work cooperatively with others, and succeed in school, while also supporting their successful reintegration into their home public schools. The Academy emphasizes building personal responsibility and fostering a strong sense of community among the student body, while instilling tolerance and empathy for others. In addition, the program is designed to prepare students for the world of work and higher education, equipping them with the skills and mindset needed for long-term success.
